Trevor Neil has been a professional trader for over 40 years, starting his career as a coffee floor trader for Merrill Lynch and moving to other derivatives, FX, equities and now all asset classes including ETFs. He has managed two funds in his career, the stock market quoted Helix Fund trading diversified commodity futures and a hedge fund based in South Africa, Isivuno Fund which traded equity derivatives. Both traded technically and systematically. He was on the board which founded the Society of Technical Analysts, the UK professional body and IFTA member. He took a break from trading for three years in 1999 to be global head of technical analysis at Bloomberg before returning to fund management. He provides professional skills guidance for institutions worldwide.
